Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking Security Guards for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) project across the Southeast London Region. You will travel to various DWP sites, patrol premises, respond to incidents, and liaise with emergency services while delivering Excellent customer service.

Full UK driving licence is required, and prior security experience is valued. This role offers a chance to contribute to community safety and join a professional Mitie team.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience is required.
• DS licence preferred for candidates.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for DWP staff, visitors and property.
• Patrol premises regularly to identify potential security threats.
• Respond effectively to emergencies or suspicious situations.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Provide high levels of customer service and assist staff and visitors on security matters.
• Complete routine security checks and incident reports as appropriate.
