Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking passionate security enthusiasts to join our Security Guard teams for a national project with the Department for Work and Pensions. This role covers DWP sites across Cambridgeshire, including Cambridge, Ely, Huntingdon and Peterborough, and requires a Full UK driving licence.

You will patrol, respond to incidents, liaise with police and emergency services, and help ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience.
• DS Licence preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors and property.
• Patrol premises regularly to identify security threats.
• Respond to emergencies or suspicious situations.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Provide high level of customer service and assist staff and visitors in security matters.
• Complete incident reports and maintain security records.
