Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is hiring security professionals to join our Security Guard teams nationwide for a new Department for Work and Pensions project. This role covers sites across Lowestoft and surrounding areas and requires a full UK driving licence and reliable transport.

You will patrol, deter threats, respond to incidents, liaise with authorities and provide high levels of customer service while adhering to Mitie and DWP security policies. A DS licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience.
• Licence required; DS Licence preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors and property.
• Patrol the premises regularly to identify potential security threats.
• Respond effectively to emergencies or suspicious situations.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Provide high level of customer service and assist staff and visitors in security matters.
• Conduct routine security checks and submit incident reports as appropriate.
• Adhere to Mitie and DWP security policies and procedures.
