Job summary

Navien Ltd in Wales is seeking a Regional Sales Manager with a strong background in plumbing and heating sales to promote our domestic heating systems, boilers, heat pumps and water heaters.

The role covers field-based development of relationships with plumbing merchants and installers, driving sales growth, and delivering tailored solutions while building trust and ensuring efficient service delivery across the region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar in plumbing and heating.
• Background in manufacturing sales; knowledge of distribution channels.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; build relationships across levels.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage and support a sales team.
• In-depth knowledge of domestic gas and oil boilers.
• Self-motivated and proactive; able to work independently to hit targets.
• Strong commercial awareness, pricing strategies and industry agreements.
• Ability to create and implement sales initiatives and incentives to improve regional performance.
• Experience working with plumbing merchants, installers, local authorities, and social housing organisations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with installers, merchants and key industry stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand Navien’s market presence.
• Serve as trusted advisor, understanding customer requirements and tailoring solutions.
• Act as the link between customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery.
• Proactively address and resolve customer concerns to build long-term trust.
• Generate new leads, enquiries and sales, converting them into long-term business relationships.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, tracking performance against key metrics.
• Optimise the use of promotions and discounts to drive sales while maintaining profitability.
