Job summary

Key Selection Recruitment Limited is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive distributor-led growth across South East and South West regions in the UK. The role focuses on building strong distributor relationships, promoting high-performance abrasives and welding products, and supporting distributor teams with knowledge and demonstrations.

The successful candidate will develop distributor accounts, create regional sales plans, and work with end users when needed to secure sales.

Qualifications

10+ years in a sales role or equivalent.
Experience selling through distributors and industrial networks.
Strong knowledge of abrasives and welding products.
Proven track record of winning new business.
Ability to train and support distributor sales teams.
Strong CRM discipline and reporting.

Responsibilities

Build strong commercial relationships with industrial distributors, welding distributors, engineering suppliers, trade counters and regional buying groups.
Develop new distributor accounts and grow sales through existing distributor partners.
Support distributor sales teams with product knowledge, demonstrations, joint customer visits and commercial training.
Create regional sales plans to drive revenue, margin and repeat business.
Ensure distributors actively promote company products and not just hold passive stock.
Attend joint visits with distributor sales teams and demonstrate products on customer sites.
Help convert end users from competitor products and support product trials.
