Job summary

Omnia Projects is seeking a Lead Project Controls Manager to support critical electrical infrastructure projects across the UK. You will coordinate planning, cost, risk, and performance reporting for substations, OHL, HV cable systems, and renewables, ensuring governance and client satisfaction.

Based in the UK and working in a hybrid model, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, deliver decision-ready insights via dashboards and KPI packs, and coach teams to strengthen internal controls and

Qualifications

15+ years project controls experience within major infrastructure (electrical, renewables, utilities).
Familiar with PMO, controls, and performance functions for informed decision making.
Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts and multi-contract environments.
Proficient in Primavera P6, cost management systems, Power BI, and advanced Excel analytics.
Earned Value Management principles and reporting expertise.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Engineering degree or equivalent experience; Right to Work in the UK.
Desirable Chartered memberships and PM certifications.

Responsibilities

Lead client environments assessment and design tailored controls solutions.
Oversee documentation, reporting of findings and recommendations.
Facilitate workshops and planning sessions with client representatives.
Represent Omnia Projects in multi-disciplinary teams and build client relationships.
Apply governance frameworks, ensure compliance with NEC4 and client requirements.
Set up and manage project controls: planning, cost, risk, baselines, and integration.
