British Heart Foundation is seeking a PR & Media Manager to cover the Midlands and North of England on a 12-month fixed-term contract, raising the charity’s profile across media, campaigns, fundraising and partnerships. You’ll develop regional media strategies, deliver activity for Heart Month 2027 and Heart Hero Awards, and work with the UK-wide media team to maximise impact while travelling as needed.

This home-based role includes occasional travel across the Midlands and North of England,

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of the Midlands and North England media landscape.
• Demonstrable experience of finding and developing stories for the media and delivering campaigns.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a media team and manage relationships.

Responsabilités

• Deliver regional media activity for BHF’s campaigns in the Midlands and North of England.
• Plan and deliver regional media activity to support Heart Month 2027.
• Support the promotion and delivery of the Heart Hero Awards 2027.
• Deliver media activity for a new trekking events series and collaborate with the UK-wide team.
