GAP Group is seeking a Mobile Hire & Sales Coordinator to join the Plant & Tool division in a region covering the South West. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling hires, coordinating logistics, and resolving queries in a busy depot environment.

The role offers real career progression in a fast-growing business with frequent travel and overnight stays across the South West region. A proactive, customer-focused mindset and strong IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in high-volume hire desk or fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service with a commercial edge to boost sales.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Confident IT skills including Outlook and Excel.
• Team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
• Experience in plant & tool hire is a bonus; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Managing incoming and outgoing hires across plant and tool equipment.
• Processing hire desk administration and handling queries with speed and accuracy.
• Ensuring stock levels meet demand and identifying opportunities to maximise sales.
• Coordinating with drivers and fitters for deliveries and collections.
• Resloving customer complaints and supplier issues professionally and efficiently.
