Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Regional Nurse (RGN/RMN) to travel across the region and lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care on every shift in every home. As a Peripatetic Nurse, you will have autonomy and be valued for your practical clinical leadership.

You will settle new residents, advance care plans and risk assessments, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards across sites, while supporting teams with strong communication and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Teaching/mentoring or supervision qualification.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team across shifts in each home.
• Maintain high clinical standards and safe medicines practice.
• Develop and monitor tailored care plans for residents.
• Support smooth settling-in of new residents and staff development.
