Job summary

Barchester is seeking a Regional Nurse (RGN/RMN) to travel across the region and uphold high clinical standards in every care home. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, support staff on every shift, and tailor care plans to residents' physical and mental needs.

You will have an active NMC registration, and a teaching or mentoring qualification. You will drive best practice, conduct risk assessments, and ensure medicines are administered safely across your network of homes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration.
• Teaching/mentoring or supervision qualification.
• Strong leadership and communication to motivate teams across multiple homes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team across shifts and locations.
• Develop and review care plans tailored to residents' physical and mental needs.
• Support new resident settling-in and staff development.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe medicines administration across homes.
