Job summary

Willmott Dixon is seeking a proactive People Partner for the Wales & West region. Based in Bristol or Cardiff, the role is hybrid, combining office, home, and occasional site travel to support leaders and teams.

You will translate people strategy into day-to-day impact, partnering with managers to embed best practices, strengthen leadership, and ensure a high-performing, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle including performance, development and employee relations.
• Confidence in coaching and advising managers on people-related matters.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to use people data to inform decisions and improvements.
• Collaborative approach with a desire to develop your people partnering capability.
• As the role involves occasional travel, a Full UK Driving License is required.
• CIPD qualification or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to deliver high quality, consistent people support.
• Support recruitment activity and pre-employment processes.
• Onboard new starters effectively.
• Coach on attendance, wellbeing, performance and feedback.
• Drive development plans and career progression.
• Support transitions and exits with empathy.
• Build strong relationships with the regional People Team.
