Job summary

DHL UK is seeking a dedicated Operations Support professional to provide coverage across warehouses and service locations, focusing on staff absences, onboarding, and training. The role requires travel across London and surrounding M25 area, with possible overnight stays and a company vehicle or use of own vehicle with travel expenses reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or similar engagement level role.
• Experience in managing a team.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
• 3 years UK address history.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support across warehouses and service locations by covering staff absences, filling gaps, and delivering training.
• Assist Warehouse Managers with onboarding, staff development, and recruitment.
• Support the Regional Operations Manager and Head of Operations with canteen-related issues at DHL and HMP sites, while contributing to project delivery and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and assist in the implementation of operational strategies.
• Ensuring all relevant DHL operational documents are completed accurately/timely inclusive of change requests.
• Ensure all delivery queries are reported to Warehouse Manager/Supervisors/Transport Team.
• Comply with all Prison Service regulations, including security.
