We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Regional Manager to join our senior team and lead operations across multiple services. This is a pivotal role where you will inspire and guide service managers to meet clinical, operational, and commercial goals – all while maintaining regulatory excellence.

About the Role

As a Regional Manager, you will play a critical leadership role, ensuring the successful delivery of services aligned with CQC compliance and the Northern Healthcare vision. You'll be expected to lead by example, engaging with staff, residents, and families to ensure our services are not only compliant but truly life-enhancing for those who use them.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor Service Managers across your region.

Ensure full regulatory compliance and high standards of care across all services.

Take ownership of operational performance, including staffing, recruitment, budget management, and service quality.

Work hands-on with teams, building strong relationships with residents and families.

Support incident management and act as a key point of leadership and follow-up.

Drive performance improvement initiatives and continuous service development.

Collaborate with key internal teams (Clinical, HR, Finance, Business Development).

Manage governance processes and oversee regional service compliance.

Lead referral screening and admissions in line with clinical criteria and service needs.

Champion staff training, development, and workforce planning to ensure a skilled, compliant team.

Foster strong external partnerships with commissioners and health professionals.

Participate in the senior manager on-call rota to support incident response and escalation.

Key Requirements

Proven leadership experience in a health or social care setting (regulated environment).

In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance.

Strong commercial awareness and operational management skills.

A proactive and inquisitive mindset – confident in challenging the norm and asking the right questions.

Outstanding communication and people management abilities.

Financial oversight experience, ensuring responsible and efficient spend.

Strong stakeholder management, both internal and external.

Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and make confident decisions.

A hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, changing environments.
