Job description

Domus have an incredibly exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join a growing organisation in the North West that supports Adults with Learning Disabilities.

Reporting into a Managing Director, you will be responsible for the Supported living and Residential services for Adults with Learning Disabilities

This includes responsibility for leading a management team, the management of quality and care standards, cost control, commissioning, employee engagement and retention initiatives, engaging with a spectrum of stakeholders and ensuring regulatory requirements are satisfied.

This is an office based role with regular travel required –candidates must be based within the North West You will have a car and a driving licence.

Key Responsibilities of an Operations Manager :

• Lead the regional operations, ensuring high standards of care and support across all services.
• Drive regulatory compliance (CQC) and embed best practices in safeguarding, quality, and health & safety.
• Inspire and develop a team of Registered Managers and service leaders to achieve excellence.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and resources to ensure financial and operational sustainability.
• Build strong partnerships with commissioners, families, and local authorities.
• Contribute to organisational growth through service development and strategic planning.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Proven senior leadership experience within adult social care, ideally in supported living and/or residential services.
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and delivering ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ rated services.
• Track record of managing multi-site operations and leading diverse, remote teams.
• Commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, resource planning, and growth management.
• Compassionate, resilient, and driven to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the North West.
