Job summary

The Beefy Boys in the South West is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to drive performance across multiple sites. You’ll walk the sites, spot issues, and mobilize the teams to deliver consistently excellent food, service and atmosphere.

You’ll lead General Managers, manage numbers (labour, food costs, wastage), recruit and develop managers, ensure safety and compliance, and travel regularly between sites in the South West.

Qualifications

• Proven experience overseeing at least 8 hospitality sites.
• Experience as a senior Operations Manager, Area Manager, or Regional Manager in a high-volume hospitality business.
• Experience leading multiple General Managers and driving profitability.
• Strong commercial head with ability to turn operations into a profitable business.
• Solid understanding of food safety, health & safety and compliance.
• Willingness to travel regularly between sites in the South West.
• Full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational performance of our South West sites and ensure they are firing on all cylinders.
• Lead, coach and challenge our General Managers and senior teams to be the best they can be.
• Maintain Beefy Boys standards across burgers, service, cleanliness and vibe.
• Spend time on the ground in restaurants, not just behind a laptop.
• Monitor numbers: sales, labour, food costs, wastage and profitability.
• Spot problems early and drive practical solutions.
• Build great teams, develop future leaders and ensure right people are in the right places.
• Recruit, train and develop management teams.
• Ensure sites operate safely, legally and to high standards.
• Work with senior leadership to bring new ideas and initiatives to life.
• Keep the Beefy Boys culture alive across all sites and deliver excellent hospitality.
