Job summary

Pharos Generator Services, part of the RSK Group, is recruiting an Operations Manager for its Bristol, UK base. This full-time, permanent role leads regional teams, drives service delivery improvements, and oversees quotations, engineer coordination, and spares management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in standby generator or related industry.
• Previous commercial experience in contracts negotiation.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Solid understanding of service delivery processes and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive wider operational improvements and scalable best practices across the business.
• Manage a team of Regional Service Managers, Engineers, Apprentices and Administrative staff.
• Take responsibility for regional business performance, including service/remedial quotations, engineer coordination and spares management.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients and resolve escalated issues promptly.
