Breedon Group is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the cement receipt, import, storage and transfer activities across the GB Cement network. You will champion safety first while balancing service, cost and efficiency, with responsibility for North or South regional sites and regular national travel.

Based in the UK, you will report to the Logistics Manager, GB Cement, and collaborate with Transport, Engineering and Project teams to deliver performance improvements and robust logistics

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multi-site operational teams.
• Experience in safety-critical environments and regulatory compliance.
• Strong health, safety and budget management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilités

• Promote Health, Safety and Wellbeing culture across sites.
• Lead and support operational teams across a national depot/terminal network.
• Provide visible leadership, coaching and development to teams.
• Ensure safe, efficient operations compliant with standards.
• Monitor performance and implement improvement actions.
• Collaborate with Transport, Supply Chain, Engineering and Projects.
• Manage budgets and drive efficiencies while maintaining service and safety.
• Support site improvement projects and asset reliability.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and service providers.
• Contribute to GB Cement logistics strategy delivery.
