Job summary

Breedon Group plc is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead cement receipt, storage and distribution across a national network. You will manage safe, compliant operations, drive performance, coach site teams and collaborate with Transport, Supply Chain and Engineering functions.

The role covers a large regional footprint from North to South, with regular travel and a flexible working location. A strong safety culture and proven leadership in multi-site environments are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams across multiple sites.
• Proven track record in safety-critical operations.
• Experience managing budgets and continuous improvement.
• NEBOSH or equivalent qualification and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong HSE culture across sites.
• Lead and support national network of depots and terminals.
• Provide leadership, coaching and development to teams.
• Ensure operations are safe, efficient, compliant with standards.
• Manage operational budgets and drive efficiencies.
• Support site improvement projects and asset reliability.
