Breedon Group plc is seeking an Operations Manager to lead cement receipt, storage and transfer activities across a national logistics network. You will drive safety, efficiency and compliance while coaching teams at depots and terminals.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, GB Cement, you will oversee operations across North or South regions, with regular travel. This role requires a flexible approach to working location and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams across multiple sites.
• Proven ability to drive safety, efficiency and compliance.
• Experience managing budgets and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Promote a strong Health, Safety and Wellbeing culture across all sites.
• Lead and support operational teams across a national network of depots and terminals.
• Provide visible leadership, coaching and development to teams.
• Ensure operations are carried out safely, efficiently and in compliance with standards.
• Monitor performance, identify opportunities and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Transport, Supply Chain, Engineering and Project teams.
• Manage budgets and drive efficiencies while maintaining service and safety.
• Support site improvement projects and optimise assets.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and service providers.
• Contribute to GB Cement logistics strategy.
