Kier Group is seeking an Operations Director to lead Building Solutions in the Northern region, based from the Sheffield area. The role focuses on delivering high-quality construction projects, guiding pre-construction work, and driving profitable growth with overall P&L responsibility.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will develop and execute the business plan, manage a diverse team, and strengthen client and stakeholder networks to expand market share while ensuring safe, on-time

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of projects within the region, overseeing a diverse portfolio of operational and pre-construction projects.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business expansion.
• Lead, manage and inspire a team of employees, providing development opportunities.
• Work with preconstruction teams to develop work-winning strategies and mobilise programmes.
• Represent the business with public sector and private clients and develop new relationships.
