Storal Learning Ltd. is looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join our Blossom Tree and Treehouse Nursery teams in the Bristol area (Horfield and Portishead).

This zero-hours contract role offers variety across two settings and the chance to develop your childcare career with a supportive, values-driven employer. You’ll work closely with Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover, plan activities, observe progress, and support personal care for children.

Qualifications

• An Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Experience with all age groups within Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous.
• Have a full clean UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Be willing to travel within the Winchester area.

Responsibilities

• Work across two nurseries to provide day-to-day cover and support.
• Plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children.
• Apply the Storal curriculum and pedagogy daily.
• Engage in mealtimes and transitions to support learning opportunities.
• Bond with children and families through meaningful interactions.

Education

An Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above

In this role you’ll work across two Nurseries, gaining knowledge and experience in each setting, to further develop your childcare career.

The Team

Our Nursery Support Team is in the South West and will cover Blossom Tree (BS20 6BQ) and Treehouse (BS7 0XY) nurseries. We have a wide variety of remarkable nurseries where our experienced and passionate team brings a wealth of early years expertise. We know that every child is unique, with their own story to tell, so we tailor our approach to suit each child’s pace, personality, and interests ensuring they feel supported, seen, and celebrated.

How you’ll spend your time here

In this role, you will work closely with the Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover and support where it is needed most. Flexibility is key, as your schedule may vary week to week.

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following
