Job summary

Storal Learning Ltd. is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to work across our network of nurseries, providing day-to-day cover and support where needed. You will plan activities, observe progress and care for children while applying the Storal curriculum and pedagogy.

The role requires an Early Years Level 3 qualification, experience with various age groups, and a willingness to travel within a 60-mile radius. Hours are casual/bank, with travel allowances and wellness days included.

Qualifications

• Experience with Early Years settings across age groups is preferred.
• Knowledge of EYFS framework is advantageous.
• Must hold a full clean UK driving licence and have access to a car.
• Willing to travel within 60 miles or 60 minutes radius.

Responsibilities

• Cover across multiple nurseries as needed and support nursery managers.

In this role you’ll work across multiple Nurseries, gaining knowledge and experience in each setting, to further develop your childcare career.

Our Nursery Support Team is in the North East and will cover the following nurseries, Forest Barn (CM13 3JP), Hemsley House (ME16 8HU), Ickle Pickles (ME9 8UW), The Learning Tree (RM1 2QP), Windmill Nursery (DA11 0EH) Little Faces(CM2 8HR) and Willow Tree Walthamstow (E17 9AA). We have a wide variety of remarkable nurseries where our experienced and passionate team brings a wealth of early years expertise. We know that every child is unique, with their own story to tell, so we tailor our approach to suit each child’s pace, personality, and interests ensuring they feel supported, seen, and celebrated.

How you’ll spend your time here

In this role, you will work closely with the Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover and support where it is needed most. Flexibility is key, as your schedule may vary week to week.

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• An Early Years qualification at Level 3
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
