Job summary

Storal in Winchester is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to cover multiple nurseries across the region. You’ll plan activities, observe progress, and support children's daily care, with a flexible schedule and a focus on the EYFS framework.

You'll join Mandy’s team, bring a Level 3 Early Years qualification, and be willing to travel within the Winchester area. A driving licence and access to a car are required, with benefits including enhanced holidays and pay advances via PayCaptain.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will work closely with Mandy and the Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover and support where it is needed most.
• You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children.
• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.
• Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.

The Team

You’ll be joining Mandy’s team of area support Nursery Practitioners, Mandy has 35 years of experience in childcare having working in several roles including Nursery Manager and Area Manager.

Our Nursery Support Team is in the North East and will cover the following nurseries, Farley Salisbury (SP5 1AH), Farley Sparsholt (SO21 2NB), Farley Steeple (SP3 4NQ) and Tiny Tots (RG22 5SN).

We have a wide variety of remarkable nurseries where our experienced and passionate team brings a wealth of early years expertise. We know that every child is unique, with their own story to tell, so we tailor our approach to suit each child’s pace, personality, and interests ensuring they feel supported, seen, and celebrated.

How You’ll Spend Your Time Here

In this role, you will work closely with Mandy and the Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover and support where it is needed most. Flexibility is key, as your schedule may vary week to week.
