Job summary
Health & Social Care Services Ltd. is seeking a Regional Nurse Manager to lead high-quality complex care across Cornwall. This hands-on leadership role sits at the heart of person-centred care, with close work alongside service users, families and care professionals to tailor care to individual needs.
You will oversee a small, focused caseload and maintain a visible field presence, balancing clinical oversight with leadership while supporting a coordinated care team.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with minimum 3 years’ experience.
- Background in Complex Care Nursing & Management, preferably in community settings.
- Experience with adults and children with learning disabilities is welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Manage a maximum of 10 complex care packages in Cornwall.
- Conduct and review comprehensive care planning and risk assessments, escalating concerns appropriately.
- Mobilisation, delivery, and quality assurance of complex care packages.
- Flexible diary to meet caseload; occasional field work and out-of-hours sign-off or supervision.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure staffing, training, and compliance.
- Support recruitment and development of a skilled complex care workforce.
- Handle challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism.
- On-call out of hours rotation; monthly HQ visits in Fareham with clinical peers.
