Job summary

Lawes Consulting Group in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced insurance professional to oversee regional GWP, income and profit targets by delivering an efficient service to brokers and managing the regional account in line with the regional strategy, financial plan and individual objectives.

The role includes renewing and mid-term adjustments, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key directors and brokers, contributing to income and GWP objectives, and ensuring policy

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert CII, with Dip CII (or progress towards it) preferred.
• Three years' experience in commercial underwriting or broking.
• Ability to negotiate flexibly while managing a profitable portfolio.
• Experience renewing and managing individual cases and books of business, with selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver profitability, growth and expense targets by managing region KPIs.
• Handle renewals and mid-term adjustments within authority levels.
• Build local relationships with key directors and staff at top brokers.
• Contribute to income and GWP objectives while working toward loss ratio targets.
• Ensure survey requests, survey overviews and policy documentation are processed correctly.
