Job summary

Arch Insurance in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Commercial Underwriter to drive regional GWP, income and profit objectives by delivering efficient broker service and managing the regional account within defined parameters.

You will write new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments within authority, while building strong relationships with key brokers and collaborating with claims and survey teams to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert CII; Dip CII or progress towards preferred.
• At least 3 years Commercial underwriting experience (or broking).
• Understanding UK insurance market and broker relationships.

Responsibilities

• Achieve profitability, growth and expense targets across the region.
• Write new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments within authority.
• Develop relationships with key brokers to enhance Arch's presence.
• Contribute to income and GWP targets while meeting loss ratio goals.
• Ensure policy documentation and surveys are processed and reported.
