Job summary

AXA is seeking a Motor Trade Development Underwriter for the Birmingham region. You will drive partnerships with brokers and clients, focusing on profitable growth in Mid-Market and Mid-Corporate portfolios.

The role involves travel within the area and a company car or cash allowance is provided. You will work with a team to negotiate coverage, pricing and terms, while managing a robust pipeline and leading large-case process for new business.

Qualifications

• Expert Motor Trade underwriting knowledge in Birmingham area.
• Record of securing and retaining business of large scale and complex business through broker relationships.
• Evidence of pipeline management and sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as face of AXA presenting propositions for larger Mid-Market and Mid-Corporate risks.
• Negotiate coverage, wordings and pricing with Trading Underwriters.
• Develop a robust pipeline of Mid-Market and Mid-Corporate opportunities with client/broker relationships.
• Lead and embed the large case management process for new business.
• Build broker relationships across the Region for self-sourced business.
