Job summary

Citygate Automotive Limited is seeking an Accredited Regional Master Technician to deliver high quality vehicle servicing, diagnose complex issues and coach junior staff across multiple locations in the region. You will gain exposure to new models and modern working methods while upholding safety and OEM standards.

The role involves regional travel (Watford, Ruislip, St Albans area), training, and ongoing professional development, with a strong customer service focus and leadership

Qualifications

• Level 3 automotive qualification and full UK driving licence.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication tailored for non-technical customers.
• Organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Undertake diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues
• Conduct electronic visual health checks (eHVC) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers
• Liaise directly with customers and service advisors, providing outstanding customer service
• Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements
• Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date
• Contribute to local and companywide process improvements and innovations
• Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable
• Travel to various Citygate locations depending on demand (Watford, Ruislip and St Albans core Region)
• Potential to Travel to customers and Triage a vehicle prior to a booking

Role overview

We are seeking an Accredited Regional Master Technician to assist in providing a high quality and efficient vehicle service offering for our customers. This role will offer you the opportunity to put your technical expertise to use and solve complex technical issues, whilst gaining new skills and exposure to new vehicle models and methods of working. As a Master Technician you will also provide guidance and coaching to less experienced team members.

Key responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Regional Master Technician be:

About You

As a Master Technician, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

• Level 3 qualified vehicle technician with a full UK driving licence
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
• A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
• Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
