Job summary

Citygate Automotive Limited is seeking an Aftersales Manager to lead the Technical Service Department and collaborate with the Customer Service team to achieve quality and customer care objectives.

You will drive performance across Technical Service and Parts, manage staff development, and maintain strong stock and financial controls while delivering exceptional service to workshop, bodyshop and retail customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as an Aftersales Manager within a main dealer.
• Ability to lead, manage and motivate your team to maximise profit whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
• Stable track record in managing an Aftersales department and delivering profitable results.
• A full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Technical Service Department, ensuring efficient operations and full compliance with manufacturer and group standards
• Drive departmental performance, profitability, and KPI achievement through effective cost control, budgeting, and commercial management
• Recruit, develop, and performance-manage staff, implementing training and development plans to maintain high technical standards
• Lead and manage the Parts Department, ensuring efficient operations, accurate stock control, and strong commercial performance while delivering exceptional service to workshop, bodyshop, and retail customers
• Monitor work in progress, cash flow, trade and warranty debtors, and produce regular performance reports
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and communicate relevant information to the team
• Continually improve customer care standards and attend relevant meetings and training sessions to support business objectives

• You must have a stable and proven track record in managing an Aftersales department and be able to demonstrate delivering a profitable result
