Regional Managing Director - Based in Dubai, UAE.

The Company

Our client is a well-established global leader in conventional and renewable off-grid power solutions. They serve clients worldwide across various sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, telecommunication, healthcare, data centres, and utilities.

This position reports to the Group CEO and is based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies focusing on the UAE, Gulf Region, and export markets across Africa and Asia.
• Manage full P&L responsibilities, financial reports, business planning, and target achievement in revenue, margins, and market share.
• Establish a company in Saudi Arabia, including a factory and aftermarket spare parts and services.
• Lead and develop the business unit team, managing recruitment, performance, and succession planning.
• Develop channel and distribution partnerships for export to Africa and Asia.

The Successful Applicant

• 10+ years in senior management roles within mechanical or electrical manufacturing/industrial sectors.
• Proven experience in Middle Eastern and African markets; experience in power and renewable energy sectors is advantageous.
• Full P&L management experience.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Willing to travel across Africa and the Middle East.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience in renewables (solar, battery-hybrid solutions) or gas generators is beneficial.
