Regional Managing Director - Based in Dubai, UAE

The Company

Our client is a well-established global leader in conventional and renewable off-grid power solutions. They serve clients worldwide across various markets including residential, commercial, industrial, telecommunication, healthcare, data centres, and utility sectors.

This position reports to the Group CEO and is based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies focusing on the UAE, Gulf Region, and export markets across Africa and Asia.
• Manage P&L, financial reports, and business plans to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.
• Establish a company in Saudi Arabia, including a factory and aftermarket services.
• Lead the business unit team through recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning.
• Develop and lead channel/distribution partnerships for export to Africa and Asia.

The Successful Applicant

• At least 10 years of senior management experience in mechanical or electrical manufacturing/industrial sectors.
• Proven experience in Middle Eastern and African markets; experience in power or renewable energy sectors is a plus.
• Full P&L management experience.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is advantageous.
• Willing to travel across Africa and the Middle East.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience in renewables (solar, battery-hybrid) or gas generators is a plus.
