Regional Managing Director - Based in Dubai, UAE

The Company

Our client is a well-established global leader in conventional and renewable off-grid power solutions. They serve clients worldwide across various markets including residential, commercial, industrial, telecommunication, healthcare, data centers, and utility sectors.

This position reports to the Group CEO and is based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies focusing on the UAE, Gulf Region, and export markets in Africa and Asia.
• Manage full P&L responsibility, financial reporting, business planning, and achievement of revenue, margin, and market share targets.
• Establish a company in Saudi Arabia, including a factory and aftermarket services for spare parts and maintenance.
• Lead and develop the business unit team through effective recruitment, performance management, and succession planning.
• Develop channel and distribution partnerships for export to Africa and Asia.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 10 years in senior management within mechanical or electrical manufacturing/industrial sectors.
• Experience in Middle Eastern and African markets; experience in power and renewable energy sectors is advantageous.
• Proven full P&L management experience.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Willingness to travel across Africa and the Middle East.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience in renewables (solar, battery-hybrid solutions) or gas generators is a plus.
