SES Engineering Services, a leading Tier 1 Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) contractor, is seeking an exceptional leader as Regional Managing Director for our Northern Business, covering the North West, North East, Yorkshire, and Scotland. This is a high-impact role with strategic influence across some of our critical regions.
Reporting to the Executive SES Managing Director, the Regional Managing Director will lead the strategic and operational functions of the SES Northern region. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven ability to drive business growth, enhance team performance, and optimise operational efficiency. The Regional Managing Director will collaborate closely with senior management to develop and execute strategies that align with the company's overall goals, ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients.
The role involves working with cross-functional teams, including customer strategy, marketing, product development, commercial, pre-construction, and operations, to ensure that customer strategies are integrated and aligned with business objectives.
We seek a highly skilled leader with a strong background in business leadership, divisional or general management, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive business performance.
The candidate should possess exceptional leadership and people management abilities, a proven track record of building high-performing teams, and strong financial acumen. Experience managing budgets and financial reporting, along with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, are essential. Proficiency in business management software and Microsoft Office is required. A commitment to SES's culture and values, and the ability to motivate staff, is vital.
