Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is recruiting a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join its Learning Disability Services in a regional role covering the West Midlands and South Midlands. You will deliver specialist assessments and interventions for children and adults with complex needs, in a mix of home-based and community settings.

The role requires HCPC registration, paediatrics experience, and SI training, with autonomous diary and caseload management and travel across the patch.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Essential paediatrics experience.
• Sensory Integration (SI) training – essential.
• Experience working within learning disability services.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions across learning disability services.
• Work with both children and adults, providing tailored, person-centred support.
• Undertake sensory integration assessments and develop specialist intervention programmes.
• Provide advice, training, and support to families, carers, and professionals.
• Work autonomously across a regional patch, managing your own diary and caseload.
• Travel across the West Midlands and South Midlands as part of the role.
