bMindful Psychology is recruiting a Specialist Occupational Therapist to support children and young people across the West Midlands. The role suits an OT with CAMHS and sensory processing experience, delivering assessments, interventions and recommendations to improve lives.

We seek clinicians with HCPC registration, strong reporting and collaboration skills, and a commitment to high-quality, person-centred care within an MDT context.

Qualifications

• BSc, MSc or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience with children and young people.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
• Experience with complex developmental, emotional or mental health needs.
• Experience in sensory processing and regulation work.

Responsibilities

• Completing comprehensive Occupational Therapy and functional assessments for children and young people with complex or multiple needs.
• Undertaking specialist sensory assessments and developing sensory profiles.
• Working with children with autism, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental needs.
• Developing practical, individualised sensory strategies and intervention plans.
• Providing recommendations for home, education, and community settings.
• Supporting daily living, self-regulation and participation.
• Producing clear assessment reports and recommendations for families and schools.
• Delivering individual and group OT interventions as appropriate.
• Providing consultation to parents, carers, teachers and MDTs.
• Contributing to MDT discussions and care planning.
• Collaborating with psychologists, SaLTs, education professionals and social care.
