Job summary

Healthcare Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a supportive multidisciplinary team in Warrington, working with children and young people with sensory, developmental and functional needs. The role centers on Sensory Integration, requires SI experience and HCPC registration; newly qualified OTs not suitable.

Offer: full-time or part-time options, term-time option, 22.5–37.5 hours, minimum 3 days per week, opportunity to develop SI expertise, meaningful specialist

Qualifications

• HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in Sensory Integration / sensory processing work.
• Experience with children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive OT assessments.
• Develop and deliver individualised therapy programmes.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
• Support sensory processing, developmental and functional needs.
• Develop appropriate therapy goals and intervention plans.
• Work closely with parents, carers and education professionals.
• Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor progress and adapt intervention plans.
• Provide professional advice, guidance and recommendations.
• Promote independence, participation and positive outcomes.
