Job summary

Astrea Academy Trust seeks a Regional Lead Practitioner for Science to support South Yorkshire secondary schools while continuing to teach KS4 science. You will deliver excellent lessons, support curriculum design and share best practice across the trust.

You will collaborate with the Secondary Education Team to strengthen knowledge-rich instruction, drive social mobility and raise learner outcomes across multiple schools within the region.

Qualifications

• Deep passion for Science and a proven track record of delivering impact and outstanding results.
• Ability to break down barriers to success, empowering scholars and driving social mobility.
• Experience delivering a knowledge-rich curriculum through explicit instruction.

Responsibilities

• Raise KS4 Science achievement by teaching excellent lessons and providing specialist support.
• Design and implement an exceptional KS4 curriculum.
• Provide subject-specific curriculum expertise to the wider Astrea Secondary Curriculum Team.
• Lead on improving scholar outcomes and teaching standards.
