Job summary

Astrea Academy Trust is seeking a Regional Lead Practitioner for Geography to support South Yorkshire Secondary Schools while continuing to teach Geography. You will work with our Secondary Education Team, delivering excellent Geography lessons and helping design a knowledge-rich KS4 curriculum.

You’ll lead curriculum improvements, provide specialist support, and collaborate with senior leaders to raise outcomes across the Trust.

Qualifications

• Outstanding teacher with a proven track record of impact and excellence.
• Ability to break down barriers to success and drive social mobility.
• Experience delivering curriculum and instructional improvement across multiple schools.

Responsibilities

• Raise achievement in KS4 Geography by teaching excellent lessons and providing specialist support.
• Design and implement an exceptional KS4 Geography curriculum.
• Provide subject-specific expertise to the Astrea Secondary Curriculum Team.
• Lead on improving scholar outcomes and teaching standards across Trust schools.
• Collaborate with Regional Lead Practitioners, National Subject Leads and Heads of Department.
