Job summary

Randox Laboratories in London invites applications for Regional Laboratory Manager – London. The role leads the laboratory, drives performance, and ensures ISO 17025/15189 compliance while managing a team of Team Leads.

You will oversee turnaround times, QC, cost efficiency, and data-driven improvements, with 40-hour weeks and some shift work. Requires biomedical science degree and UK right to work.

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least degree level in Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Immunology or Life Science.
• Experience in diagnostic testing.
• Previous experience working in a laboratory setting.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Outlook/Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end performance of the laboratory from turnaround times and QC to stock control and cost efficiency.
• Use data to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop a team of Team Leads and laboratory leaders.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness against ISO 17025, ISO 15189, GCP and MHRA standards.
• Seek out new technologies and smarter processes in diagnostics.
• Oversee staff appraisals, training, and development.
• Ensure sample integrity at all times.
• Draft Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Ensure clients receive high-quality service.
