Job summary

Randox Laboratories in Antrim is seeking a Regional Performance Partner to oversee regional operations in laboratories and clinics. The role focuses on observing operations, monitoring KPIs and driving improvements while upholding quality standards.

Requirements include a life science degree with diagnostic testing experience, plus strong communication, leadership and systems skills. Knowledge of ISO 15189 and clinical governance enhances candidacy.

Responsibilities

• Spend time in the laboratories and clinics within your region.

• Analyse operational and quality data to identify inefficiencies and embed improvements.
• Work with Lab and Clinic operations to address root causes and track improvements to completion.
• Ensure operations, processes and improvements comply with regulatory and quality guidelines.
• Maintain independence and objectivity in quality management activities.

Regional Performance Partner – Antrim (Job Ref: 26N/RPPA)

Location:

RCLS Lab, Antrim, BT41 4LF. Randox Health Clinics across Northern Ireland.

Contract Offered:

Full-time, permanent.

Working Hours / Shifts:

40 hours per week working 5 shifts across a 7-day rota.

Please note that this role requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. This is to ensure completion of our 9-month probationary period and for any potential sponsorship decisions to be considered. What does this role involve?

• Spending time in the laboratories and clinics within your region:
• Observing operations directly
• Monitoring KPIs at source
• Analysing operational and quality data to identify inefficiencies and embed sustainable improvements
• Work closely with Lab and Clinic operations to ensure performance issues are identified early, address root causes on the lab /clinic floor and track improvements to completion
• Ensure all operations, processes and implemented improvements are inline with relevant regulatory and quality guidelines.
• While working closely with operational teams, the post holder must maintain independence and objectivity in all quality management activities
• Qualified to at least degree level in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Immunology or a life science.
• Experience in diagnostic testing
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills.
• Demonstrate excellent leadership qualities and a high level or self-motivation
• Strong systems skills to produce correspondence and documents
• Knowledge of ISO 15189
• Working knowledge of quality systems.
• Knowledge of CQC / HIS / Clinical Governance regulations and frameworks
