Job summary

Howdens Joinery Ltd is seeking a commercially driven Regional Contract Manager to win kitchen contracts across new-build and regeneration projects and convert new customers into long-term partners. You will build your own region with support from a leading supply chain and specialist teams.

You will manage opportunities from tender to award, retain commercial oversight, grow repeat business and maintain strong relationships with housebuilders and housing associations while safeguarding margins.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or construction field sales is preferred, but related backgrounds welcome.
• Proven track record of winning new business and building a healthy pipeline.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills with a focus on margins.

Responsibilities

• Lead opportunities from tender to contract award and retain commercial oversight.
• Grow repeat business, manage pipeline, forecasts and sales targets.
• Win kitchen contracts across new build, regeneration and related opportunities.
• Build lasting relationships with housebuilders, developers, main contractors and housing associations.
• Review designs, value engineer solutions and negotiate pricing to protect margins.
• Coordinate with legal team to agree contractual terms and hand over to installation.
• Submit monthly payment applications and manage leadbank and CRM activity.
