Job summary

Howdens is seeking a commercially driven Regional Contract Sales Manager for the New Build Division. You will win kitchen contracts across new build and regeneration projects, building a portfolio of customers with the support of a nationwide supply chain.

You will lead tenders, manage pricing and margins, and maintain commercial oversight from tender to contract award, growing repeat business and managing forecasts in a field-based role across Reading and Guildford regions.

Qualifications

• Kitchen or construction field sales experience preferred.
• Record of winning new business and building a healthy pipeline.
• Consultative selling, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial judgement on specification, pricing and margins.

Responsibilities

• Lead opportunities from tender to contract award and retain commercial oversight.
• Grow repeat business and manage pipeline, forecasts and sales targets.
• Win kitchen contracts across new build, regeneration and related opportunities.
• Build lasting relationships with housebuilders, developers and housing associations.
• Develop longer term specification opportunities with private clients and local authorities.
• Secure tenders, agree specifications, and work with design hub on presentations.
