GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Regional HR Advisor to support seven sites in the North West, including Widnes, ensuring effective HR guidance and development of operational management in HR matters. The role is full-time with standard hours, requiring travel to other locations in the area.

You will provide first-line HR support, coach managers on ER issues, and conduct site HR reviews to drive improvements. CIPD study is a bonus and employment law knowledge is valued.

• Support, coach and advise key stakeholders on all HR issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance improvement
• Conduct regular and in-depth site HR reviews, identifying and driving any areas of improvement
• Assist the sites in the development of managerial colleagues in terms of their own understanding and ability to support their operations in ER cases

Are you currently a HR Advisor looking for your first regional role? Perhaps you are already in a regional role look for a new challenge?

Here at GXO, we're looking for a Regional HR Advisor to join our team in the NorthWest supporting our Equipment Management Network sites, where it's all about recycling and reuse. As the Regional HR Advisor, you will support the seven sites (Widnes, Skelmersdale, Gadbrook, Rochdale, Hinckley, Hams Hall and Langlands Park, East Kilbride) and guide on a range of HR/People related matters while supporting the development of operational management competence levels of middle level managers in HR related issues across own area.

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00. You can be based at either of the sites you will be responsible for but, must be able to travel to the other locations in the area.

What you'll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A strong background in a similar HR position would be advantageous however, we will provide training and on going support to develop in your career if it is the next step for you!
• Excellent working knowledge of HR processes, procedures and employment law (if you have or are studying towards CIPD, this would be a bonus)
• The flexibility and ability to travel throughout the Southeast as well as occasionally further afield for meetings and events
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
