Job summary

Platform Housing Group is seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to support leaders and colleagues across the group, providing practical safety guidance to manage risk while enabling services to thrive. This home-based role requires regular travel within the Group geography, with focus in East Midlands, Lincolnshire and Nottingham areas.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH certificate or equivalent required.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Significant H&S experience in housing, construction or facilities management.
• Ability to translate legislation into practical guidance.
• Driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line health and safety advice and guidance to leaders and colleagues.
• Conduct risk-based inspections, monitoring and reporting.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and identify root causes.
• Develop, review and deliver health and safety training and briefings.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and communicate complex safety information.
• Utilize data to improve assurance, action tracking and learning.
