Job summary

Clarion Housing Group is seeking an experienced Health & Safety professional to support the safety and wellbeing of around 4,000 colleagues across multiple locations in the North, Central and West regions.

The role reports to the Health & Safety Manager and focuses on providing guidance, assurance and practical support for a large operations team delivering responsive repairs and maintenance services to residents.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate (or equivalent)
• Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
• Experience applying health and safety principles in housing/repairs or similar operations
• Experience supporting field-based workforce in a residential setting

Responsibilities

• Review accidents, incidents and near misses, ensure investigations are proportionate and lessons learned are identified
• Develop practical health and safety guidance and communications
• Design and deliver training to support safe systems of work
• Manage health and safety documentation, reporting and data
• Apply risk management principles and update policies in practice
• Keep up with evolving legislation and best practices and share updates across the business
