Job summary

GAUCHO is seeking an enthusiastic Head Bartender to join our team. The candidate will lead a busy bar, deliver cocktails per GAUCHO specs and uphold the Cycle of Service, while inspiring the team with high standards of guest experience.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and at least 1 year in a head bartender role, with a passion for hospitality, cocktails, and guest delight. Opportunities for growth and staff meals on shifts are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Head bartender or senior mixologist in a busy, high-end bar environment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails and spirits, and ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the bar team to deliver exceptional service.
• Attend required post-academy training and company programs.
• Maintain stock, garnishes and glassware to GAUCHO specs.
• Ensure beverage quality and presentation meet GAUCHO standards.
• Provide role-model leadership, training and support to new staff.
• Sustain high energy, fast-paced service with clear communication.

Key responsibilities of theGAUCHO HeadBartender

• Maintaining skills and product knowledge as taught at the GAUCHO Academy

• Attending and responding to all required post-academy company training

• Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver exceptional service.

• Supporting,trainingand acting as a role model to new members of the team

• Strong leadership,organisationand communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced,high energyenvironment.

• Completing quality preparation of all duties to clean, set up, handover and close the bar and shift to standard

• Lead the team inmaintainingbeverage stock,garnishesand glassware

• Ensure all the bar team practise consistent waste awareness

• Service of all drink and food orders in the public bars according to the Cycle of Service standards and timings

Requirements for GAUCHO HeadBartender

• Minimum x1 year experience as Head bartender or senior mixologist in a busy, high end bar environment

• At least 2 yearspreviousexperience in cocktail making

• A genuine passion for 100% hospitality and great guest bar experience
