Job summary

GAUCHO is seeking an enthusiastic Head Bartender to lead the bar team, deliver cocktails to GAUCHO specs, and uphold the Cycle of Service.

You will train and motivate staff, maintain stock and glassware, ensure guest experience is outstanding, and participate in post-academy training. This role offers career development and staff meals on shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Head Bartender or senior mixologist in a busy, high-end bar.
• At least 2 years of cocktail making experience.
• A genuine passion for 100% hospitality and great guest bar experience.
• Ability to lead and train a bar team to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver exceptional service.
• Attend required post-academy company training and maintain standards.
• Ensure drinks meet GAUCHO specifications, presentation, and timing.
• Manage, train, and role-model new team members; protect stock, garnishes, and glassware.
• Uphold Cycle of Service standards and maintain high guest experience.

Key responsibilities of theGAUCHO HeadBartender

• Maintaining skills and product knowledge as taught at the GAUCHO Academy

• Attending and responding to all required post-academy company training

• Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver exceptional service.

• Supporting,trainingand acting as a role model to new members of the team

• Strong leadership,organisationand communication skills.

• Completing quality preparation of all duties to clean, set up, handover and close the bar and shift to standard

• Ensure all the bar team practise consistent waste awareness

• Service of all drink and food orders in the public bars according to the Cycle of Service standards and timings
