Qualifications

• Experience selling construction products, technical building materials or related solutions.
• Strong commercial awareness with understanding of margin and profitability.
• Demonstrable success in growing customer accounts and new opportunities.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Comfortable engaging with business owners, directors and senior decision makers.
• Highly organised with pipeline and CRM discipline.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work autonomously.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth plans for existing customer accounts.
• Increase customer spend through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
• Conduct regular account reviews and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Target and secure new business opportunities within the construction sector.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline across the region.
• Collaborate with estimating, customer service, operations and senior leadership.
• Monitor account performance, profitability and commercial opportunities.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring a first-class experience.
• Provide market intelligence and competitive feedback.
