Job summary

Apex Hotels is seeking a Group, Conference & Events Manager to lead a regional team across Dundee or Dunblane. You will drive event sales, ensure operational excellence and deliver exceptional client experiences across all conference spaces.

You will lead, coach and develop planners, manage KPIs, and work closely with commercial and operational teams to maximise revenue while maintaining brand standards and safety across properties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior conference and events role within hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Commercially astute with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client relationship skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a regional team of conference & events planners across multiple sites.
• Drive KPIs, monitor performance, conversion rates and sales pipeline activity.
• Maximise conference and events revenue through proactive sales leadership and cross‑team collaboration.
• Identify revenue risks and opportunities and implement growth strategies.
• Contribute to regional sales strategies, promotions and commercial initiatives.
• Act as senior contact for key clients and high‑value events to ensure exceptional service.
• Oversee planning and delivery of complex, multi‑site events from enquiry to completion.
