Job summary

GAP Group Limited is seeking a Regional Generator Engineer to service, maintain and repair Stage V generators and ancillary power equipment across customer sites in the UK. The role involves travel within the GAP fleet, fault finding and ensuring accurate service records up to 500KVA.

Based at our Cleckheaton depot, applicants should be located nearby; a valid driving license is preferred. We offer a competitive salary, bonus scheme and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a diesel Generator Engineer role is essential.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and generators is highly desirable, training will be provided on specialist equipment.
• A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Travel across customer sites to identify and repair faults or damage to equipment (Stage V Generators, AMF/MDU, cables).
• Perform servicing and maintenance of generators up to 500KVA within GAP fleet.
• Accurately update service records and paperwork.
• Locate role at GAP depot in Cleckheaton and work across regional sites.

As a sub division of GAP Pump Services, GAP Power Solutions provides advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for our stage V generator fleet, including associated ancillaries. GAP Power Solutions includes a large range of generators, fuel Tanks, Cables and MDU/AMF panels power solutions.
As a Regional Generator Engineer you will play a pivotal role in the success of the region by ensuring that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it through the efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of Power services & equipment up to 500KVA within the GAP fleet.
As part of our high-performing regional team, you will be responsible for traveling across our customer sites to identify and repair any faults or damage to equipment including Stage V Generators, AMF/MDU and Distribution & Cable, whilst accurately updating service records.
Please note, this role will be based out of our depot in Cleckheaton and therefore candidates should be suitably located.
